21_26Upcoming

Upcoming Events:

  • The 2016/2017 World Premiere of Gorky’s Dream Garden: Announcements to be made soon.
  • Calling All Dream Catchers for The Procession of Light:  The Processional Arts Component for the opera’s premiere is now in formation. One-hundred volunteers are needed to be a part of the show’s “Rainbow Finale.” Educational specialists for the preparatory arts and crafts workshops, and staging synchronization drills are also sought to coordinate the sessions and enlist its participants. In tandem with the music performance (by a fully professional roster of soloists, orchestra and choirs), students and lay people, young and old, are invited to join the site-specific procession. Integrated hand held floating architecture, pageant puppetry, illuminated (battery operated) lanterns, masks and costumes (to be fabricated in dedicated workshops before the performance) will draw upon iconic images of Gorky’s art and the Armenian heritage.
